Remi Guillemette has been on a mission to create a continuous improvement culture at CAE in Australia for the past 2 years. After obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in 1995 from University Laval in Quebec, Canada, Remi started his career as a simulation software engineer at CAE’s headquarters in Montreal, Canada. In 1999 Remi moved to Australia and continued to work for CAE in their Sydney office. During his time with CAE, Remi has fulfilled many engineering roles including establishing the systems engineering capability from the ground up, and, since 2014, has been establishing the continuous improvement capability. Remi loves learning and is passionate about improving the culture at work; his personal goal is to work himself out of a job.
Sofia Passova, Ph.D.
Dr. Sofia Passova is the President and Chief Executive Officer of StereoLOGIC. Her creativity and advanced knowledge of modeling technologies have allowed her to create a number of successful IT companies. Prior to StereoLOGIC Sofia founded Blueprint Systems (formerly Sofea Inc.) – the industry leader in requirements modeling, visualization and simulation. The Blueprint solution was honored by Gartner’s Cool Vendor Award in 2004 and 2008 and it was successfully adopted by a number of Fortune 500 companies. Sofia has Ph.D. in computer science and M.Sc. in electrical engineering and started her career as a rocket scientist. She is a patent holder and author of many publications on modeling and simulation of complex computer systems. Her innovative technologies were presented at Gartner, Object Management Group (OMG), NASA and Financial and Insurance Industry conferences.
Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (Former)
Neal was formerly the Senior Vice President of Process Management in Retail and Business Banking. In this role, Neal created and ran the End-to-End transformation programs. Neal and his team built the capability to digitally measure and manage the ETE lending processes for the mortgage, cards and wealth businesses. Neal moved to this role from Technology and Operations where he was the SVP for Process Management.
Stan Passov is the Senior Vice President of Products at StereoLOGIC. Stan’s mission is to help enterprises to generate value from StereoLOGIC advanced modelling technologies. He brings a unique expertise in accelerating customer adoption of modeling solutions and aligning the product vision with the customer’s needs. Ed is responsible for the design, development and delivery of all iGrafx products, and works closely with the Customer Success and Professional Services group at iGrafx Headquarters. With more than 20 years of experience supporting business process management solutions, as well as delivering process services to help companies optimize their business, Ed continues to lead company efforts to enhance and maintain its position as a recognized leader in the marketplace.
For over 15 years, Robert has managed the successful implementation of Process Improvement projects for many different organizations. These projects aided in the release of new products and refined existing processes, saving millions of dollars. He firmly believes that your processes are at the center of everything you do. If you don’t understand your process, you don’t understand your business. Robert has worked with customers in Financial Services, Health Care, Government, and Manufacturing, teaching them not only how to use iGrafx, but to better understand the services they as a company provide, and the connection to the processes that drive them.
